Detours!

Hi everyone!  It seems like forever since I posted on this blog.  The truth is I took a detour which took me on a new adventure. Just like I talked about in a previous blog.  As you know I am an artist (you can see my work on my website at www.goldenisis.com.au). For many months I had been toying with the idea of creating a set of oracle cards using my mandalas and after waking from a dream one night realised that the time was right.  I enlisted the help of a friend Vikstar (http://medzenforyourmojo.com/) to channel the readings for me, and a new adventure began.

Forty-eight mandalas, and one new computer (mine died along the way), one restored computer (Vikstar's became sick along the journey) and we finally finished.  We learnt many lessons in patience and perserverence, but it has all paid off. You can see our prototype in the photo above!  We've no idea yet however what the finished set will look like, but I'll keep you posted

The set consists of four sets - Archangels, Ascended Masters, Names of God and Chakras.  They are designed to give help and encouragement to lightworkers and those travelling with the light!

Our oracle cards will be available in stores next year, published by Blue Angel Publishing!  So exciting.  Dreams really can come true!

Meanwhile, prints of the mandalas are available on www.goldenisis.com.au  Come and check them out!

Back on deck now, so keep a look out for my next blog!
Love and blessings

Colour: The Ultimate energy fix

Colour is energy vibrating at different rates.  This energy can directly affect the human body, mind and spirit.  This is a fact that has been understood for centuries.  Our language has been coloured by this information too.  Think – “feeling blue”, “he saw red”, “in the pink” and “cowardy custard” (yellow).

You can experience great shifts in moods and even health by the colours with which you surround yourself.

Here are just a few hints:

Red - a powerful antidepressant colour. It is vital, warm, cozy, sensual, determined, friendly and courageous. Red is assertive and associated with ambition and represents male energy.

Orange  - a joyous colour.  Orange is warm, glowing, creative representing active intelligence, joy of expression, happiness.

Yellow - a friendly, bright and uplifting colour, a celebration of sunny days.  It is associated with the intellectual side of the mind, wisdom and the expression of thoughts.

Green - has a strong association with nature, helping us connect with empathy to others and the natural world.  We instinctively seek out green when under stress or experiencing emotional trauma. Green is the colour of change, growth, love, adaptability.

Blue – a cool, calming and associated with a higher part of the mind than yellow.  It represent the night,  making us feel calm and relaxed as if we are being soothed by the deep blue of the night sky. Blue is associated with the spoken and written word, with wisdom, truth and devotion.

Indigo - a powerful psychic colour associated with the right side of the brain and stimulates intuition and imagination.

Violet and Purple - colours of transformation at a very deep level, bringing peace and combating shock or fear.  They are also connected with artistic and musical impulses, mystery and sensitivity to beauty.

Of course there are many more colours to work with. Experiment for yourself by introducing a different colour into your wardrobe or into your décor.  You may be surprised at the changes that occur.

You can read more about the effects of colour in “The Me Book” or in the online course.

Choices: Make them wisely

Sometimes, when you have a vision of the future, of the goals that you want to achieve, you find that your energies are too scattered, you are faced with too many choices and unrealistic expectations begin to prevent you from moving forward.  Perhaps you have many opportunities, but you need to make a decision and herein lies the problem.

It is important to remember that you and only you hold the power.  You are in control and responsible for every decision you make.

Take the time to think, analyse and weigh up all of the possibilities that lie before you.  Be careful to neither procrastinate nor be too hasty.  Do not allow yourself to feel pressured or to be influenced by people who do not have your expertise in your areas of choice or those that may insist that they only have your best interests at heart. A wise decision comes from your heart and soul.  A wise choice may not always seem like the logical choice – to others!  A wise choice makes you feel good, not fearful!  A wise choice brings a sense of peace, purpose and happiness!

Stay calm, meditate, call upon your personal guides, angels and divine energy for support, but do not wait for them to decide for you.  You CAN do it!  And remember, you are allowed to change your mind!

An Added Dimension

Working with ADD, (Empowering Indigo and Crystal Energy)

I have been asked many times over the past few months to write about this subject, so here is the first of many instalments.

If you are blessed enough to be or be parent to one of these special souls, then congratulations.  What an honour!  It can be a long and difficult journey but believe me the results are worth the effort.  These people are among the most talented, intuitive and innovative souls on the planet.  They are here to advance planet earth to a new level.  There have been indigo people around for many, many years – think Einstein, Churchill, Henry Ford and lots more - but at this time there are more than ever before.

If you have been entrusted with the upbringing of one of these children, then there are important things to be aware of.  They, as all children do, deserve your respect, love and nurturing.  Discipline and guidelines are important if they are to learn how to fit in with modern society without getting into trouble.  People often ask me about discipline and the ADD child – consistency is the key. If you have ever seen Jo Frost (The Super Nanny) http://jofrost.com/ then you will have already been introduced to the some of the best methods I know for helping your Indigo or Crystal Child survive today’s society. If not, check out her books, DVDs and website.  Jo uses the same methods that I have long used and taught with great success.  I know they work being an (ADD) Indigo myself and having one Indigo and one Crystal child – now 21 and 18.

One of the most important things to understand about these people is that they are generally right brained, intuitive and extremely sensitive to the point of being empathetic. (See previous blog “A Better Understanding”). This is why they are diagnosed as attention deficit and/or hyperactive.  Over stimulation is especially problematic in schools as you can well appreciate. There are great natural and easy ways to help these kids cope with being square pegs trying to fit in to round holes so to speak.  Energy work is the most valuable tool I know so stay tuned for the next Added Dimension instalment where I will begin to include tips and ideas for you to use.

Until then – positive attention is the key.  Use the quick fix from “Vibrational Rescue” for both yourself and/or your child and remember – All is as it should be!

Vibrational Rescue

Sometimes we need to raise our vibration in a hurry.  Perhaps you have found yourself in a situation fraught with negative energies, where there is fear, sadness, anger or jealousy.  This is my quick fix for this sort of situation.

Step one: if possible take yourself outside away from the situation.  If this is not possible close your eyes for a few seconds and visualise yourself standing on cool green grass. Really feel it under your feet.

Step two: ground yourself by visualising, feeling or knowing that you have roots extending from the soles of your feet into the ground via your Earth star Chakra.

Step three:  See or feel bright white or golden light above your head.  Draw or breathe it into yourself through your crown.  Allow it to fill your whole body.  You start to feel your vibration lifting even now.

Step four: extend the golden/white light outside your body so that you are cocooned inside it as well as it fills your entire being.

Step five: see or feel the pink glow of unconditional love around your heart area let it grow and extend outward towards and encapsulating the situation, person or place.

Step six: repeat the following affirmation as often as you need:

I am whole, I am perfect, I am strong, I am powerful, I am loving, harmonious and happy.

I calm, I am healthy, I am wise, I’m intuitive, Life is joyful, abundant and good.

Repeat this process as often as you wish and allow your vibration to lift.  You will find this process can help you through almost any situation. If you need extra protection – call in Archangel Michael for assistance.

Life is Perfect!

Soul Space

Do you have a “soul space”? A place to sit and nourish your entire being at the end of a busy day?  A special seat or corner of a room (or if you are lucky a whole room) that is entirely yours – your energy, your space?  Soul Space can be your meditation corner, the place under a tree where you love to sit, a seat in front of a window where you can read or contemplate the view.  It’s a place to unwind, to reconnect with you, to nurture and rejuvenate.  Soul Space is a place where you are unavailable for the time being. You can say: “I am unavailable any time you see me sitting on that chair/under that tree/in this room.”  Use it for quiet time just for you.  No work needs to be done in your soul space. It is a place to rest/think/create/relax.  Soul Space is so, so important.

Fill it with love, colour, energy and peace. Enjoy!

Getting back on track

“Stuckness” occurs when you allow fear to creep in – it may not be a conscious fear and it can happen to any one of us.   Have a look at the thoughts you think as you begin your day.  The words you pay attention to and the positive words you push away. Which fearful and negative thoughts do you allow to creep in to your mind?  Do you really feel stuck?  Why do you tell yourself you are stuck?  This only serves to reinforce your “stuckness”.  Refuse to allow yourself to be this way.  Don’t ruminate upon it – speak it once out loud and let it go.  Use positive affirmations and gratitude throughout your day.  The more you focus on the positive, the sooner you will begin to move forward.  Look for the joy and light as you would advise others to do.  If you find are not happy doing something – look for a way to make it more positive experience.  Don’t be pushed by others to do something their way, for it will become a chore.  If what you thought was your “path” has become a “task” rather than a joy, look for where you have temporarily come of track.  What can you do to get back on track?  You can do it – and you know it!  There is light ahead leading your forward.  Just take that step once again and know that all is as it should be.

Shadows of times past

As a past life regression therapist, I was thrilled to be able to spend a long weekend in the presence of the Master of this modality recently.  Not only was it wonderful to be gaining new knowledge and inspirations, but it reminded me of how far I have come.

My very first past life memory almost 20 years ago, came as a shock to me, as I wasn’t being regressed at the time, I was just relaxing in my hammock at home.  I had been suffering a severe back pain for quite a while, right between the shoulder blades to the extent that I often couldn’t breathe because of the pain.  Doctors, physios, chiropractors all had been unable to help.  All had been surprised when they had asked me how or who had hit me so hard between the shoulders, as there was quite an indent in the shape of my spine. My answer was always “I don’t know – I’ve never had an accident there to my knowledge.”

A counsellor had suggested I sit and relax and ask the pain/injury where it had come from.  This I thought was an interesting idea, but I didn’t really think anything would come of it so was totally unprepared for what did.

Sitting there in my hammock I managed to relax deeply and unexpectedly “recalled” myself in the hold of a large wooden ship.  Suddenly, something broke through the wall of the boat, water poured in towards me spinning me around, and I found myself pinned against the other side of the boat by a heavy beam of wood – right between the shoulder blades.  The pain in my back was excruciating and I knew I was about to drown.  There the memory left me.

Dazed and confused I made an appointment to speak with my counsellor, worried that something strange was going on and that I may be going “mad”.   Although she had not come across this before, she was sure that it was a memory from a previous life and that perhaps I could take myself back there to see what actually had happened.

It took many weeks before I managed to do just that.  I had read somewhere that placing a piece of azurite under the pillow could stimulate past life recollection, so I decided to give it a try.  The effect was almost instant as my head hit the pillow that night.  I was immediately taken back to a life time in early England (1700’s) as a maid. (I did manage to verify the era by the clothing)  My lover was about to set sail on a ship that was tied up in the docks and I knew I would never see him again.  I found myself walking along a shelly beach where I hatched a plan.  I managed to stow myself away in the hold of the ship.  Not long after setting sail, the accident occurred and I was racked with guilt.  I believed it was considered bad luck for a woman to be aboard such ships and I thought that I was the reason that the ship had sunk losing many sailors including my lover.

With the help of my counsellor however I was able to let go of the guilt and realise that it was not my presence that caused the tragedy, and the pain between my shoulders all but disappeared.  I do still have a slight deformity there and am still asked if I have ever had an accident, but I no longer suffer from the debilitating pain.

There are many kinds of unexplained phobias, pains, behaviours that – if no basis can be found in the present lifetime, can be traced to past lives.  If the emotions surrounding the incident have not been recognised and dealt with, they can be carried over from lifetime to lifetime until the pattern is broken.  There are more and more past life therapists available these days to help you discover more about how your past lives are affecting you now.
If you would like to know more about past life regression please read the information on my website at www.goldenisis.com.au

Trust

Many of us have issues with trust -trusting others but above all trusting ourselves, our “instincts”, - our inner selves.  Trusting intuition is the path to our life purpose.  If we cannot learn to trust our own inner vision, how can we know where we are going?  It is one of the hardest lessons to learn.  We carry so much baggage and pain from lives both past and present which must be recognised, acknowledged and dealt with.  It no longer serves a healer’s purpose to be afraid of witch hunts. It doesn’t serve a writer’s purpose to be afraid of rejection and persecution.  It no longer serves a mathematician’s purpose to be afraid of ridicule and bad judgements.  Let go of past based fears and move on.  Let in the light.  All is as it should be.

A Better Understanding

I’m “off with the fairies” today.  Can’t concentrate, not paying attention, not listening, restless, daydreaming, not finishing one job before I move on to the next – all the things I got into trouble for as a child.  All the things that gave me and my daughter (and many others) the label ADD.  (or ADHD).  I’m comfortable with these traits now, because I understand.  I am a sensitive, an empath – my “off with the fairies” times are my way of coping with the over stimulation that bombards me on a daily (well not so much daily now that I understand) basis if I forget to protect myself before heading out into the world.  When you are an empath you feel, really feel, not only your own feelings, but those of other people around you.  When you don’t understand this, it is difficult to tell where your feelings end and others begin.  You become so sensitive to any kind of vibration or energy, whether it be sound, light, emotion that you tend to tune out in an effort to protect yourself, or become restless, rushing from one thing to another, unable to settle in an effort to “escape”.  This can be very difficult for you to cope with, but once you understand what is happening, there are many techniques you can learn to protect yourself.  Read about shielding for lightworkers, empaths and psychics.  There is so much information out there now.

If only I knew as a child what I know now!

What do you understand better about yourself now that you wish you had known as a child?

Time Out!

Sometimes the universe holds up a big stop sign. Right in front of us!  When this happens you know it’s time to take a break.  This usually happens when a period of stress or over exertion comes to an end.  It doesn’t happen when you are right in the middle of it – no – it waits until you are finally feeling great and ready to take on the world again.  Something will happen.  You get sick, your plans don’t work out, your motivation disappears – something will make you stop.

Rather than panic, it’s time to treat yourself to a little tenderness.  Take time out!  and smell the roses.  Make yourself a cuppa and put your feet up with a good book.

During these periods of down time meditate (even for a few minutes).  Sit outside and commune with nature, feel the earth beneath your feet, lay on your back and watch the clouds float across the sky, walk, sleep, and allow your creative juices to replenish themselves.

This is particularly important to those artists and healers who are empaths.  Get into the habit of allowing yourself some time out each week to replenish and regroup – before the universe holds up that big stop sign!

When has the universe held up that STOP sign for you?  Did you learn your lesson – or did you keep going until you were down to the last drop?

Detour!

Sometimes, it seems, that life forces us to take a detour from what we feel is the correct path to reach our destination.  It is important to remember that a detour is just another way of getting from where we are to where we want to be.  Rather than becoming stressed at the perceived wasting of time or frustrated at having to travel unfamiliar paths, relax and look around you.  What new scenery, what new insights can you glean along the way.  Detours can either lengthen or shorten the time it takes you to reach your destination. Either way, it is the new experiences that are important.  Relish the fact that you have been given the opportunity to learn more lessons.  Occasionally we come across a Stop sign and are forced to wait as the world seemingly passes us by.  Use the time wisely.  Contemplate the world as it passes you by.  What can you learn?  You will begin to move again and will reach your destination in good time. The light will begin to shine from between the trees.  All is as it should be.

What detours have you had to take?  What did you learn about yourself and your world along the way?  Has the detour offered you a quicker route to your destination, or has it forced you to slow down and look around you?

Happy journeying.

Fun v Joy and Happiness

“What do you do for fun?”- is a question I have always struggled with. Yet it is a question asked by many if not all counsellors, psychologists, therapists.

I never had an answer.  I didn’t like the question.  I understand now, that the word ‘fun’ is the problem here.

The literal meaning of ‘fun’ is from hoax or practical joke.  Fun is a source of enjoyment or pleasure, but it can sometimes occur at the expense of other people’s feelings. The enjoyment that fun brings is not lasting and can often leave one with a feeling of emptiness.   A certain amount of playfulness or fun is important in life, but the constant search for fun is not.  Therefore I can now understand why having “fun” is not high on my list of things to do. Don’t get me wrong I do have lots of fun, but I don’t look for it and I often feel deflated when the fun has passed.

More important is the search for happiness and joy.  I would much rather be asked “What brings you joy?” or “What makes you happy?”  These two questions I can answer.

Joy quite literally is the intense and especially ecstatic or exultant happiness and the expression or manifestation of such feeling.  Happiness is a feeling of well-being, the absence of fear and a feeling of contentment.  It can range from this feeling of well-being to the intensity of joy.

What brings me these feelings?  The unconditional love of my family and friends, watching my children become mature and wonderful adults, my connection with nature and the divine, the world in which we live,  my work in helping others heal and find their path in life, dancing,  my art ….. I could go on!

Yes there is fun involved in most of these things, but it is the happiness and joy they bring that are most important to me and my life.

What brings you joy and happiness?

Whispers of Wisdom

Your inner wisdom is not usually the loudest voice.  The loudest voice is in all likelihood your ego.  Divine wisdom comes in whispers, in quiet thoughts and fleeting visions.  Trusting those quiet, gentle whispers can be quite a challenge when the ego shouts out it's orders in an effort to be top dog.  Your spirit is calling for stillness and silence, while your ego is shouting out to get things done NOW!  Spirit knows that there is no rush, that all things happen in their own time, but the ego says "you're lazy".  We are not of course talking about the everyday responsibilities of the busy modern woman or man, but the journey of life, the quiet gaining of knowledge about our spiritual path, the following of our life's purpose.  The two sides of life, can and must be integrated into the everyday if balance and inner peace is to be achieved.  All is as it should be.

Disruption

How do you cope with disruption in your life? When storm clouds gather?  When your life - or parts of it - seemingly crumble around you.  Do you feel as if it is the end of your world? Or do you look for the lessons learned, the opportunities for change and the way clear to create a new life - the way you want.

When towers fall, building crumble or trees topple, it is a sign that something is not as it should be.  The foundations may have become weakened, the structure may be in the wrong place, perhaps it has not been nurtured and cared for, or perhaps the design was not appropriate in the first place.

When disruption occurs in your life, look for what has really happened.  You have been given a chance to redesign part or all of your life - to take a new direction in your journey.  Do not focus on what you have lost, but rather what you might reap from the experience.  Life now yours for the making.

A gentle push or an almighty shove?

Sometimes when we don't get the hint to change direction or listen to our intuition, the universe will give us a gentle push.  If we still don't listen then perhaps it will give us an almighty shove.

I hate to admit that I had been ignoring that little voice in my head for some time now.  I REALLY wanted to move my healing practise back to my home, but the thought of emptying and renovating a room, changing all of my advertising and rearranging my life, seemed all too hard - so I tried not to listen to my soul!  So what happened?  I had an almighty shove.

The business where I have had my practise for the past 2 years was sold, and the new owner, without so much as a word to me, began using my room for storage, removed all of my cards and advertising from the front of house, so that when I came back from my holiday I felt well and truly pushed out!

Solution!  Follow my soul advice that I had been ignoring for the past two years, and move home!  I have cleared, renovated and blessed my new healing room at home people - in one weekend!  It really wasn't that hard - and I am so excited that I've finally done it!

Have you been ignoring that little quiet voice in your head?  Do something about it before push turns to shove.

Intuition

Intuition is the language of the soul, of the universe.  It is time for me now, to become more aware of how the universe is trying to get my attention. (outside of my work)  I have always been very intuitive and use my intuition all the time in my work, but I miss little things on a personal level.  Little subtle messages tend to slip by me.  My work this week is to become more receptive, more insightful and to stop dismissing the little things as unimportant.  A separate journal is in order.  One just to record the synchronicities, the everyday knowing, the kind of things that I generally don't record in my other journals.  I have chosen a beautiful yellow leatherbound Celtic journal - the sort that makes you feel magikal.

What messages from the universe have you been missing.  Is it time for you to turn inwards to find the solutions and insights that are awaiting you. Listen for phrases or words that are repeated by more than one person - numbers that keep showing up - specific names that you keep hearing.  Thoughts that keep drifting in and out of your mind.  These are signs.  Pay attention.  Be open.

Observing the psychological landscape

Taking stock
Where are you now on your journey.  Like me you’ve taken the first step of the next adventure, made your resolutions and initiated some changes, but where are you psychologically, emotionally and spiritually.  There is an exercise that I love to do regularly on my journey – it’s like an instant check up.  You can find it in full on my webpage in the “Work with Me” member’s area as it isn’t in the current book. (It will be in the next).  It involves a piece of paper and a pencil, (or paints) and fifteen minutes of drawing, that’s all – and then a little bit of self analysis based on the universal psychological symbols.  All the information you need is on the website.

I can tell from my latest ‘checkup’ that I still need to do a little work on my self esteem.  My life is travelling in the right direction, but I need to trust myself and open up to other people a little more.  I have finally left the traumas of my past behind and removed most of the blocks and walls.

To continue on my journey however, I must learn to be a little more trusting of not only myself but other people – and I need to figure out another set of ‘changes’ that need to occur.   ‘Changes’ is a great place to re-visit whenever the need arises.
Take a look at your psychological landscape, take stock and see what other 'changes' you need to make before continuing to the next location on your journey.

Changes

This moment is all about change.  Yes I'm revisiting yet another spot along my path.  This is a place i visit often, for without change there is no growth.  (For those of you sharing the "Me" Book journey, see worksheet 012).  Sometimes changes are forced upon us and we must go with the flow, settle into a new way of seeing things.  Sometimes you just 'know' it's time for a change.

The decluttering of the past month, has changed the energy in my life and brought room for exciting changes.  Daunting at first, but necessary!

I am embracing change with a touch of excitement now.  The possibilities are endless and the future will be what will be.

Everything is as it should be.

What are you ready to change?

Stepping Out - Resolutions

What a great timet to begin this new leg of my "journey", and what better way to start than with a resolution.  (For those of you who are following your own "journey", see worksheet number 029)

To me a resolution is in essence a promise to one's self at this special time of the year - firm determination. BUT it also brings to mind endings, particularly of difficulties.  Resolution also relates to vibrational energies - light, colour, sound and yes the turning of our beautiful Earth.
Bring on this New Year's Resolutions.

Today I set my resolutions for the future.  They are threefold this year, but ultimately related.  I aim to simplify my life which I have already begun by decluttering and streamlining my home.  I am also now committing myself to DAILY meditation - even for only fifteen minutes on those extra busy days.  Thirdly I promise myself to write at least something each day and to chronicle my journey weekly.

And so it is!

Have you made your resolutions yet?
